Day 1 \u2013 week 2:\u00a0 Ukulele!!!!<\/p>\n
Well that was fun, and a bit challenging, too.\u00a0 I\u2019m going to learn stuff that I\u2019ve either forgotten over the past 40 years (reading music) or haven\u2019t taught myself yet (scales and finger picking).\u00a0 Eve is going to condense 12 weeks of regular lessons into 5 days so we\u2019re moving along quickly.\u00a0 Unlike last week, though, I\u2019m not frustrated (yet) because she\u2019s providing progress at different levels for those who have different experience.\u00a0 And that difference conveniently comes together in the form of harmony.\u00a0 We sounded pretty good today \u2013 playing and singing.\u00a0 I\u2019m anxious to hear what we\u2019ll sound like at the end of the week.\u00a0 Oh, and we\u2019re in probably the only air conditioned classroom in the school.\u00a0 Steve is jealous.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
